The pattern design system I show in this class is unlike most pattern making systems. You start by visualizing the design on the body. Once you have established the look you want, you then measure and draft the patterns. This allows you to create custom garments that require minimal or no fitting. You can create swimsuits, lingerie, tops, dresses, and gowns.
No previous patternmaking experience is required to take this class. The garments are very easy to create. I include sewing instructions so that a person with little sewing experience can be creating wearable garments during the first week.
